Starting
11/01/2008 - are a group of 72 pictures taken by
LTJG Bernard Schenck during Glacier's 1959 tour to
Greenland. These pictures will be presented six at a
time with new postings on the 1st of each month. The Association wishes to extend
its thanks to Bernard for taking the pictures and his
son for the work he did to prepare and send them to us.
- Conventional Pictures are of the ship while she was
on active duty with the U.S. Navy
- Decommissioned Pictures are of the ship after her
retirement from the Coast Guard
- Other Pictures are of the places she visited and the
people who served aboard her.
- Each of the above Sections may be presented in multiple pages; links to the various
pages can be found at the top of each page as well as below
the thumbnails.
